This Week in the EEU

April 25-28th, our Jazz 1 & 2 students went to Folsom, CA for the California Jazz Championships Invitational.  Each band performed on Friday and Saturday.  Jazz 1 was picked in the Top 5 and played again on Saturday night.  We are very proud of our students!

Concert Band Camp / Jazz Band Camp – ALL 2024-2025 EEU Students are expected to attend

August 12-23, 2024 – Band Camp for ALL Band/Color Guard
Please DO NOT schedule any other activities during this time.  It is expected that ALL students are at Band Camp during these two weeks. 

Spring Break 2025 Band Trip to New Orleans – April 12-16, 2025
See flyer for more information and make sure to attend the ALL 2024/2025 parent meeting on May 2nd to get all of the information.

Meet & Greet 
4pm – 6pm
Parents Meeting 5pm – 6pm 

What to bring for Auditions:
-wear all black 
-hair tied up or pulled back
-wear sneakers or shoes that are appropriate for outdoors
-bring water and a snack 
-your determination to be able to learn & showcase your skills

Requirements: 
-able to be enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year for both field & winter season
-willing to learn new skills and to be taught with a great state of mind
-to be dedicated to commit to all rehearsals and class times
-always strive to showcase your best

Donations are being accepted for our Awards Banquet Opportunity Drawing Baskets.  If you have a NEW, unopened, unused household item that you haven’t gotten around to using and are willing to donate, please reach out to Laurie Hinton events@ehseu.org Information about the Section Baskets will come out next week.
