This weeks EEU Senior Bio  is Jade Nguyen. Jade plays flute and percussion and has been playing since fourth grade. Her favorite part of band is her friends.

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend, I did! Next week is Star testing, so study, study, study! As of this moment, there WILL be zero period all of next week, ask Mr. Davis if you have questions.

This week's EEU Senior Bio is of Matt Benz. He plays the trumpet and has been in band since fifth grade. His favorite part of band is the field shows.

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great weekend! Tomorrow is Festival, so if you are in Symphonic Band, remember to bring your concert attire. It is recommended that you show up in your formal clothing, but if you don't want to, you can change during break. The release time for Symphonic Band tomorrow is 10:45. Symphonic Band is to get back to school around 2:00, so those of you who have a 6th period will need to go to it. Remember that the call time for Wind Ensemble is 6:15, and we are to meet in the band room at Valencia. Wind Ensemble members must provide their own transportation to get to Valencia. Good luck at Festival tomorrow, I hope we do great!

This weeks EEU Senior Bio is of Meg Pearce. She plays the trumpet and has been in band for eight years. Her favorite part of band is the trips with all of the bandos.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! This Wednesday is a Late Start Day, so zero period will start at 8:00. As of this moment, there is only zero period for the symphonic band, including the people from wind ensemble who are in symphonic band. The wind ensemble and symphonic band also switch rooms.

This weeks EEU Senior Bio is of Jon "Vespaman" Edwards. He plays trombone, and has been in band for four years. His favorite part of band is the Jazz festivals.

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend and had fun at Sadies! Embarassed Great job to everyone that helped out at the jazz festival this Saturday! You guys did an amazing job! Cool Don't forget that on Wednesday the Wind Ensemble switches to the Theater and the Symphonic Band switches to the Band Room.

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend!  This Wednesday is our Pre-Festival Concert! Surprised Juniors and Seniors need to show up at 6:15 to help set up, Freshmen and Sophomores need to stay after to help tear down.  I hope everyone has been practicing their music, I have!  Don't forget that tomorrow everyone in Symphonic Band, including the people in Wind Ensemble who have 1st period, will have zero period tomorrow.

The EEU Senior Bio for this week is Danny Goodman. He has been in band for 8 years. He plays the bassoon in wind ensemble, the euphonium for parade, the trombone in jazz 1, and  he was field drum major. His favorite part of band is making really great friends, these are the people he sees every day of every week. Wink

Hey, everyone!  Winter Break is almost here!Laughing Just a week away! Smile  Make sure to sign up for the wind ensemble auditions for this Thursday and Friday.  Remember that they are blind auditions so the directors won't know who you are.  You must know the given piece, all the scales and you will be sight reading.  Don't miss your audition time or the directors get to choose when you get to go. Surprised This Wednesday is our holiday concert!  Remember, seniors and juniors show up early to set up and freshmen and sophomores stay after to clean up.  This Thursday is the band party after school.  Make sure to check on the board to see what your section is bringing to the party.


This weeks EEU Senior Bio  is Katelyn McDonald.  She plays clarinet and has been playing for eight years. 

 Her favorite part of band is Wind Ensemble and being able to play really cool and challenging music with great musicians.

Hey everyone!  Next Wednesday is our concert, make sure to invite your whole family!  Don't forget to practice all of our concert pieces, we have alot this time!  Next Thursday and Friday are the auditions for wind ensemble.  Remember, even if you don't want to get into wind ensemble, you still need to audition because it counts as a grade.  Make sure you know ALL of the scales, and make sure you practice your piece! 

This week's EEU Senior Bio is Brad Scott.  He plays tenor sax and has been in band since 5th grade.  His

favorite part of band is all the crazy times with friends!

Hey everyone! Did you have fun on your weekend off? I did!Laughing  Wednesday is regular after school practice form 4:00 to 7:30. Our last Wednesday practice of the year!  Make sure to give this one your all!  We need practice for the field show on Saturday!!! Don't forget to bring water and a white shirt!  Thursday we have sectionals from 3:00 to 4:00, make sure to show up!  This Saturday is our last field show and parade competitions!  It's the Arcadia Parade and the Savanna Field Show tournament.  I sure am gonna miss these competitions!Cry  I know we're gonna do amazing!!! Hey everyone!  Great job last Saturday at Chino!! We did amazing!!! Smile  This Wednesday is Veteran's Day, we don't have school or practice!! Laughing  Don't forget this Thursday we have practice from 4:00 to 7:30, bring a white shirt, and lots of water!!!  There is no competition this Saturday, so have fun relaxing!!
The EEU Senior Bio for this week is Heather FischleCool Heather plays the flute in concert, the sax for jazz, the baritone for field, and the "stick" for parade.  She has been in band since 5th grade.  Her favorite part of band is being with her friends and being part of a great unit!!

Hey everyone!  Great job on Saturday!  1st in music and colorguard in the parade, and 2nd on the field show! Amazing!Laughing  I would like to thank all of the amazing chaperones that helped me when I felt sick, Frown they are all wonderful people and I truly appreciate everything they have done to help me.  Thank you!!!Laughing  Don't forget that there will be no Wednesday practice because Band Pageant will be that day.  Make sure you know and have memorized all of the music for Band Pageant, we need to sound good out there!  Because Band Pageant will be on Wednesday,  the normal Wednesday rehearsal will be moved to Thursday, from 4:00 to 7:30, so make sure to bring a white shirt and lots of water!  This Saturday is the Chino parade and field show competitions, call time is 10:45 am.


This weeks EEU Senior Bio is Yamile Landrian.

Yamile plays the tenor sax, the flute, and she can whistle.  She has been in band since 4th grade.  Her favorite part of band is the bus rides and winning and the feel of success!

Oink, oink, hey everyone, sorry I didn't update the website last week, the swine flu swept through my house.Sealed  Wednesday is a Late Start Day, band practice starts at 8:00 a.m.  Don't forget after school practice starts at 4:00, bring a white shirt, and lots of water!  On Thursday we have a football game.

Don't forget that on Saturday we have the Loara Band Review Parade in the morning and the Loara Field Tournament in the evening.  We will be bandos for Halloween, maybe we can still get some candy! :P 

And this week's EEU Senior Bio  is:

Sara Edwards

She plays that alto saxophone and the soprano saxophone. She has been in band for 8 years.  Her favorite part of band is the awesome people.  She also said that this years field show is the best!

Hey everyone.  The Homecoming Game is this Friday, Kiss  and we are performing (as far as we know), so make sure to practice the music!  This Wednesday is a late start day, we do still have zero at 8:00 a.m., don't be late!  There is a 70% chance of rain on Wednesday, so bring a rain coat. Frown  Even though it will be cold, you still need to bring water.

Amanda plays the flute.  She has been in band for eight years.  Her favorite part of band is the field show competitions.  She also loves having secret buddies in the flute section.  Secret buddies give each other food and drinks for every field show competition.

Hey everyone.  This Saturday are our first parade and field show competitions!  I know everyone is excited!!!  Make sure to go over the music, we are playing it all! And practice the parade, we might have to pass it off this week.  Make sure to be at the Wednesday rehearsal, we will be cleaning and I know everyone needs practice!  And don't forget to bring water and a white shirt!

This week is Lauren Crumly
Lauren plays flute and piccolo.  She has been in band for 7 years.  Her favorite part of band is the field show competitions.  She also loves how close everyone in band is, like a second family.
Update - 9/28

Hey, don't forget that Wednesday is a Late Start Day, and we have band practice at 8:00 am!  After school on Wednesday there is also no rehearsal because it is Back to School Night!

 Make sure to fill out your band picture order forms, they are due Saturday! Call time for Saturday is 7:15 in your blacks and whites, also don't forget that we have band rehearsal after the pictures, so bring lots of water! Cool  This Friday we have a football game, the call time is 5:15, unless you are a drummer or Tuba player, then you have to be a school at 5:00 pm.  We will be performing all 3 movements, so make sure you know all the music! Laughing
